This is Zahra Fardi ( nickname; Zara) a highly motivated and experienced English language professional with over 15 years of expertise in teaching, translating, and localization. Currently residing in Istanbul, Turkey, Zahra is pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing and Brand Management at Beykoz University, combining my passion for language with my enthusiasm for marketing and brand development.

My career began in 2009 as an English Language Teacher and Supervisor at institutions like Pouyan Language College and Leeds Language School in Iran, where i  taught English to students of all ages, prepared exam materials, and instructed in financial and business correspondence. My dedication to education expanded through roles at Shooka Bilingual School and Kish Language Institute, where I  developed engaging lessons, taught IELTS and pre-IELTS courses, and contributed to school initiatives to attract new students.

From 2011 to 2018, i worked as an English Language Teacher at Salam Bilingual School and as an interpreter for the 16th Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran, Iran, demonstrating my ability to communicate effectively in diverse and high-stakes environments. Since 2019, i have served as a Senior Translator and Localization Specialist at Global Language Solutions, leveraging my skills in cross-cultural communication and international collaboration. Additionally, I have been an English teacher at Cambridge Academy since 2024, helping international students enhance their professional English skills through innovative, communication-focused lessons.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English News Translation (2013-2016) and an Associate degree in English Documents Translation (2011-2013) from the University of Applied Sciences, Art and Culture in Tehran, Iran. My professional accomplishments include certifications in Pedagogy Coaching, Technical and Professional Computer Translation, and Teacher Training, as well as an IELTS Band Score of 8 (Academic). I have also completed specialized courses in negotiation, tourism management, and the art of expression.

Outside of my professional life, i enjoy an active lifestyle, including mountain climbing, skateboarding, and playing sports.i am passionate about translating series and cartoons, singing, playing instruments, and traveling, which reflect my broad interests and dynamic personality. With proven skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and localization, i continue to foster positive learning environments and drive impactful communication across cultures.
